•How hot is it?
It’s HOT in here! Our Heat, Sweet Heat and Happy Hour classes are 99 degrees and 45% humidity, to be exact! Our Flex class is heated to 92 degrees and our Chill classe is not heated, but there is residual heat, which will keep the room nice and warm for ya!
•Do you have a beginners class?
Our Sweet Heat class is the perfect place for beginners to start. It’s sweeter, gentler, and slower paced than our other classes. Sweet Heat is the perfect class for all levels, whether you’re brand new and looking for guidance or you’ve been practicing for years and you want to slow things down.
•Do I have to sign up for classes online?
Walk-ins are welcome, but class sizes are limited, so we recommend reserving your spot online. Signing up for classes is easy! Just go to our Schedule Page and you can sign up right through our website or click on the links to download our free app! When you sign up online, make sure you are at least 5 minutes early or you could lose your spot to someone on the waitlist, if there is one.
•Can I sign up for classes online without paying?
We do require pre-payment to sign up for classes online, but if you’d rather pay when you arrive, just give us a call and we will add you to the class list. Make sure you are at least 5 minutes early or you could lose your spot to someone on the waitlist, if there is one.
•How do I cancel/freeze my membership?
You can cancel your monthly membership at any time, but you must give us 10 days notice before your next payment or it will go into effect with your next billing cycle. You can also freeze your payments up to twice per year for a total of 3 months per year (9 months if you are pregnant!) To cancel or freeze your membership, Click Here!
•What if I need to come late or leave early?
Out of respect for other yogis, please be on time. If you are more than 5 minutes late, we will ask that you join the next class instead. We prefer that you stay the entire class, but if you absolutely must leave early, please set your mat up by the door and leave quietly. We ask that you plan to leave before savasana starts, so our yogis can enjoy their final relaxation without disruptions. When you sign up online, make sure you are at least 5 minutes early or you could lose your spot to someone on the waitlist, if there is one.
•What should I bring with me?
You’ll definitely want water! We also recommend bringing your own mat, but your mat rental is free on your first visit! After that, you can rent a mat for $3. Some people like to bring a hand towel and/or a larger towel to cover their entire mat to prevent slipping. We also sell high-quality slip-resistant Manduka mats and towels. Find The Perfect Mat!
•What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable. Form fitting clothing is typically better than loose fitting for yoga. We also recommend moisture-wicking synthetic fabrics over cotton, because cotton gets really wet and heavy after a hot yoga session. You don’t need socks or shoes.
•I’m new to yoga and I’m worried about what I’ll look like because I’m overweight/out of shape/not flexible/uncoordinated. Are people going to be looking at me and judging me?
Saying you’re not flexible enough for yoga is like saying you’re too dirty to take a bath. All levels are welcome here. Twisted Hot Yoga is a judgement-free zone. It’s where you come to build flexibility and strength and decrease stress. Yoga isn’t about being better than the person on the mat beside you, it’s about being better than you were yesterday!
•How often should I come to the studio?
We’d love to see you every day, but we understand life may get in the way. How often you practice is completely up to you. The more often you are here, the more benefits you will see. Most of our members come 4-5 times a week.
•Do you have an age requirement?
Yogis 16 years and older are welcome.
•Where should I leave my personal belongings during class?
We have cubbies, hooks and shoe racks available for you to leave your items in the lobby during class. Please, no cell phones or shoes in the yoga room.
